Jack Dellinger is a 2016 RHP with a 6-5 204 lb. frame from Bellevue, WA who attends Issaquah HS. Tall frame with broad shoulder and present strength. On the mound shows a simple, very repeatable delivery with a solid turn at balance that shows the numbers. Generates plus downhill angle and direction to the plate with medium arm length from a high 3/4 arm slot. Attacks the zone with heavy 4-seam and 2-seam fastballs that produce ground ball contact ranging from 80-84 mph, topped at 85 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with good depth and spin while showing late bite, topped at 70 mph. Flashed a changeup with fading actions similar to the curveball, topped at 72 mph. Tends to shorten arm action on change up with slightly reduced arm whip. Maintained velocity and offspeed movement throughout apperance. Projects well on the mound. Good student as well.
