Carter McWilliams is a 2021 2B/RHP with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona. Medium frame with a stocky build. Ran a 7.29 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, stays low as he moves smoothly into the baseball. Clean gather out front and works into a quick transfer. Fundamentally sound with his actions and the arm strength is showing as well. Was able to drop slots and maintain accuracy as he threw it 85 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch as he lifts to the belt and drives down the mound. Fast paced motion and proved to be repeatable. Shorter arm circle in the back and then delivered from an over the top slot. Went right at guys as he ran the fastball up to 81 mph and was able to spin the slider for strikes in the low-70's. Missed barrels while not giving up a hit during his outing. RIght-Handed Hitter, starts balanced before a long stride out. Short to it, long through it type swing with a linear swing path. Found barrels consistently and proved he could spray the baseball around the park. Great Student.
