Blake Martinez is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Allen, TX who attends Allen High School. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.07 seconds. Hits from wide-spread stance with high back elbow, separates some, shifts well into swing with hip torque, line drive swing plane with some length there, projects well with continued strength gains, showed ability to work oppo in game. Worked out in the outfield, clocked up to 81 mph on throws with developing actions. Pitched as well, loose arm to extended 3/4 slot, fastball worked 74-76 mph with some life, showed curveball as well. Very good student.
