Drew Lanzo is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Indian Trail, NC who attends Hickory Grove Baptist Christia. Medium frame with a slender build and square shoulders. Room to add strength in the future. Ran a 7.56 second 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher. Starts with a short side step delivery into a leg lift above the belt. Longer arm action in back into an extended three-quarters release. High effort delivery working away from hitters. Fastball shows arm side action on it topping out at 75 miles per hour. Mixes in the curveball quite often with a 12-to-6 shape. Will double up on the curveball and pitch off it at times. Effective on the mound with control of pitches and working the edges the of the plate. Also worked out as a secondary outfielder. Moves well to and through the baseball. Has balance to actions with full effort in throws. Shows tools from the outfield with plenty to build upon. Also worked out from first base. Moves off the bag well with clean footwork through transfers. Fields out front with a funnel into transfer. Lefthanded hitter with an even stance and high hand set. Utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Slight downhill plane to swing.
