Juan Perez is a 2007 third baseman, first baseman, and right handed pitcher from Oralndo High School who attends University High School. He has a strong well developed body at 5'11" 185 pounds. Juan has very good two way potential. He has a good approach at the plate with quick hands and nice pop off his bat. He has some good power potential and makes line drive contact. Perez showed a very strong arm in the infield at 88 mph that was very accurate as well. His tools look ideally suited for a third baseman. On the mound, Juan threw with a long loose arm with very low effort. His velocity projects very well as he is throwing 85-89 mph with his fastball right now. He also threw a tight 10-4 slurve at 75 mph and showed good command on his 77 mph change up. Juan also showed good speed by running a 7.18 60. He has very strong two way potential in college and he is also a solid student.
