Payton Allen is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Bentonville. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 7.01 runner, good athlete in the middle infield, moves well side to side and goes to the ball aggressively, gets nice carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a leg lift trigger, short and direct swing, will occasionally cut off out front, best swings are when he gets extended out front and drives the ball to the middle of the field. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Kansas.
