Paul Giglio is a 2018 OF/RHP, 2B, 3B, SS, MIF, UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Kingman, AZ who attends Lee Williams. Medium frame with athletic, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.11 seconds. Hits with line drive swing plane, simple swing mechanics that he repeats well, shows ability to work to all fields, shifts weight well into contact and has solid overall barrel skills, will unlock more power with added strength. Worked out in the outfield, easy movements to and through the ball, rangy movements, clean transfer, shows solid arm strength with good accuracy up to 78 mph. Also pitched, longer arm stroke to high three quarters slot, closed off a bit at landing, fastball worked 73-77 mph with good command of the zone. Showed curveball with gradual break; mixed in changeup as well. Did a good job throwing strikes, very good student.
