Casey Young is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Cambridge HS. Athletic frame with broad shoulders and some present strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a clean, loose arm stroke. Coils at the balance point and releases from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Ball jumps out of the hand well and repeats his release point consistently. Good feel for his sharp curveball with 12/6 shape and late bite. Fastball flashed some arm side run while topping out at 85 mph. Attacked hitters with the fastball and was able to work the strike zone effectively. Flashed a changeup with lots of dive and sink to it. Maintains velocity well and has a good three pitch mix. Good student.
