LeAndre Turner II is a 2020 2B/RHP/IF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Southfield, MI who attends Next Level Academy. Athletic build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, has quick hands with a short swing path to contact, showed good bat speed when turning on the ball and can get the ball to jump a bit, has some lift out front for future power, load and timing are simple and repeatable. 6.94 runner, athletic to the ball in infield, showed nice arm strength and carry, will need to continue to work on glove positioning and softening his hands. Also pitched, has a compact and quick arm stroke with good extension out front, very simple overall mechanics he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, has been up to 79 at past PG events, soft curveball, throws both pitches for strikes. Good student.
