Jack Potter is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from West Palm Beach, FL who attends The Kings Academy. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary righthanded pitcher, short turn step moving into a leg lift up above belt, gathers over the rubber, moving parts to delivery and lands slightly closed with strike foot but creates nice extension out front. Full and loose arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some effort at release, generates solid cut action to the pitch. Spun a nice curveball with tight rotation and 11-5 shape, able to land for strikes or bury to induce swings-and-misses, late bite to the pitch. Very good student.
