Tyler Gough is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Perris, CA who attends JSerra Catholic. Athletic build with good present strength. Slow paced delivery with a compact 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight, was up to 95-96 mph last fall, did a good job of throwing his fastball for strikes. Worked between a curveball and a slider as his breaking ball, lacked conviction and full arm speed on either pitch this outing. Also threw a change up with nice sinking action at times. Very good student, verbal commitment to Oregon State.
