Chad Williamson is a 2017 RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Brookwood HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Simple compact delivery, short stride and short arm action, tight high 3/4's release point, has some effort at release, repeats his mechanics and release point well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets good late sinking life with some downhill angle, showed good command of his fastball and worked it to both sides. Curveball was soft but had good shape and bite at times, threw it for strikes as well. Like the ability to throw two pitches for consistent strikes and challenge hitters. Good student.
