Michael Bennin is a 2018 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Murrieta Valley HS. Thick and strong athletic build. Solid defensive actions behind the plate, has good footwork and a quick release, consistent throws with good accuracy, 1.94 best pop but most in that area, works hard in the games and plays with energy. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a long and loose rotational upper body swing, has some bat speed, some back side dip to generate lift and leverage, flashed his power potential in games.
