Dylan Smith is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Stafford, TX who attends Stafford HS. Slender very projectable athletic build. Long and loose arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, creates plenty of arm speed, solid delivery mechanics with good balance and direction. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, plenty more in there as he gains strength, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action. Change up was his best pitch this outing, shows feel and plus movement at times while maintaining his arm speed. Solid curveball with some power and 11/5 spin and depth, good bite at times. Has three solid pitches with command and should continue to improve his raw stuff. Good student, signed with Alabama.
