Shane Huntsberger is a 2022 RHP with a 6-2 179 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends North Broward Prep. Medium to large frame with a lean build showing some room to fill down the road. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a higher leg lift in the windup as he his balanced throughout his motion. Drops and drives down the road as he did a nice job of getting over his front side. Whippy arm action from a three-quarter slot. Went right after batters as he mixed pitches well while changing eye levels. Fastball was up to 87 mph as he worked both sides of the dish with it. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball and a late fading changeup in the mid-70's. Also flashed some feel for a good splitter as he had guys swinging over it. Projectable on the mound as the pitchability is far advanced. Good Student. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
