Carson Brown is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Castle Pines, CO who attends Rock Canyon. Medium build with some present strength. Works from the stretch with a long direct strike out to the plate, long and deep arm action coming to a high 3/4's arm slot, some downhill angle. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has good feel for his fastball and will throw it to spots and add and subtract between 83 and 88 mph with intent, hitters didn't take good swings against his fastball, mostly straight. Flashed good spin on his curveball with some depth but can be more consistent with this pitch, developing change up. Works down in the zone consistently and has an idea on the mound. Key to development will be further development of his secondary pitches. Named to the National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospects List.
