Brent Renteria is a 2019 OF/MIF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Chandler, AZ who attends Chandler HS. Slender high waisted build, projects well physically, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.21 runner, has athletic actions in the outfield, gets rid of the ball quickly with good footwork, compact arm action and makes accurate throws with good accuracy. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance, rotational upper body swing, full body swing with a line drive swing plane, mostly pull contact, creates some young bat speed with his aggressiveness. Should continue to improve with additional strength. Good student.
