Brady Ortman is a 2020 MIF/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Providence. Long athletic build. Ran a 7.00 second sixty-yard dash. Showed a deeper funnel with confident fielding actions in the infield. Showed good arm strength throwing from a three-quarter arm slot across the diamond topping out at 76 miles per hour. Flashed the ability to be accurate from multiple arm angles in the infield. Right handed hitter. Utilizes an open upright stance with a high hand and back elbow set. Employs a gap to gap power approach with good bat speed and lift in the swing. Displayed the ability to drive the ball through the gaps during batting practice. Showed good barrel control creating consistent solid contact during the entire round of batting practice. Tremendous student.
