Colin Gierula is a 2019 2B/OF/SS with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Lantana, TX who attends Denton Guyer HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Hits from wide-based stance, short leg lift trigger, high hand set, gets barrel moving and shows smoothness to path, swings the bat hard with intent to drive it, consistently squared up pullside liners, projects for more power with strength gains. Worked out in the infield, hands work well out front, comes through the ball pretty well, accurate to the bag on throws, clocked up to 76 mph. Very good student.
