Cooper Anderson is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends McNeil. Large frame with strong, sturdy build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.79 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, hooks arm stroke through the back side and gets back elbow high, gets off backside well downhill but directionality is inconsistent, high three quarters slot with plane to plate, fastball worked 80-83 mph with some cutting action on the end of it, able to get fastballs by hitters up in zone, showed curveball with 11/5 shape and soft depth, did a good job of throwing it for strikes. Worked out in the outfield and threw 81 mph from there. Good student, named to 2020 West Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
