Steven Spalitta is a 2023 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Mandeville, LA who attends Fontainebleau. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. 6.65 runner in the sixty. Has very quick actions behind the plate defensively, stays compact, hands work really well, has some arm strength and gets rid of the ball quickly, lower half quickness and agility will be a big asset as he moves up levels. Obviously plenty athletic enough to play other positions if needed. Left handed hitter, hit from an exaggerated high back elbow load, lifting pull oriented swing, not consistent with his stride into contact, has twitch and good raw bat speed with some projection as a hitter with adjustments. Very good student.
