Ethan De Cuba is a 2021 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Oranjestad, AA who attends Mon Plaisir College HS. You, athletic frame with square shoulders, high waist, and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, works behind it and fields out front, shows fluidity to actions and works over front side, short crow hop to gain momentum, quick arm action and gets on top of throws with with nice on line carry and accuracy to intended base. Listed as a switch-hitter, only took reps righthanded. Begins with a slightly open stance and high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Utilizes a leg lift trigger with a long stride into contact, occasionally gets to front side early but stays rather direct to ball with swing path. Shows a feel for the barrel and able to generate leverage out front, quickness to hands and projects with additional physical strength. Good student.
