Ethan Watrous is a 2019 RHP with a 6-3 140 lb. frame from Wilmette, IL who attends North Shore Country Day. Very long and lean build. Side armer, works exclusively from the stretch, lands on line and stays directional well, very long arm action. Low 60's fastball gets consistent sinking action, sweeping slider has occasional depth. Tends to pitch exclusively to the glove side and miss to that side, key to future development will be commanding the entire strike zone with precision to take advantage of his deception and work ahead in counts.
