2018 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Graysen Drezek is a 2020 RHP/SS/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends North Scott HS. Big and strong athletic build. High leg lift delivery, drop and drive mechanics to the plate, carries his momentum well and stays on line, deep arm circle in back coming through to a 3/4's release point. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight. Showed good spin and depth on a 12/6 downer curveball when he maintained his arm speed, has good feel for his curveball and used it on all counts. Right handed hitter, upper body rotational swing, swings hard and hits with intent, has some barrel whip and present power. Showed his athleticism well in the infield, circles the ball well with good actions and balance, compact arm and release with clean exchanges, threw with accuracy on the run. Good all around athlete who will continue to improve. Good student.
