Carston Herman is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 142 lb. frame from Santa Clara, UT who attends Snow Canyon HS. Long and slender young build, lots of physical projection there. High front side delivery with a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, has some deception and hides the ball well, works downhill very well, arm is deep in back with good extension out . Mid-70's fastball with big arm side running life at times. Curveball was his go to pitch with good spin and 12/6 downer shape, has feel for his curveball and throws it for strikes. Maintained arm speed well on his change up. Has lots of positive elements to develop if he can get stronger. 7.21 runner. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight leg stance with a lift and replace trigger and a hand hitch load, middle of the field approach with some lift in his swing. Excellent student.
