Arthur (AG) Yowell is a 2018 RHP with a 6-6 186 lb. frame from Dripping Springs, TX who attends Dripping Springs HS. Very long and lean build with lots of projection remaining. Unusually fast arm, loose and whippy, complicated medium effort delivery that is all legs and arms and has plenty of deception, big downward plane from a high 3/4's release. Fastball topped out at 90 mph early, gets really good running and sinking life at times. Change up is a solid pitch, bit firm but maintains good arm speed, tends to cast curveball at present and only flashes tight spin. High ceiling young athlete with work to do but lots of physical potential. Only topped out at 83 mph at the 2017 Sunshine South showcase in June, so he's having a serious velocity spike.
