Ethan Flanagan is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Santa Margarita Catholic. Long and lean young athletic build, really projects physically. Primary pitcher but only hit at this event. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a loose and direct swing, has a lifting swing with good extension through the ball, showed some bat speed and the ball came off the barrel well, going to keep adding bat speed as he gets stronger. Body and athleticism stand out for a pitcher, looking forward to seeing him on the mound. Good student, verbal commitment to UCLA.
