Bo Rhudy is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Chickamauga, GA who attends Gordon Lee. Big physical build with a thick barrel chest and strong hips. Big turn over the rubber, gets into his strong hips, long stride out front, tends to over rotate and land open, compact 3/4's arm slot that hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, gets on hitter's quickly and the velocity plays up, big fastball spin numbers, gets big cutting action at times coming across the ball with his delivery, fastball will tailing at other times, nothing straight. Not consistent on his curveball release and arm speed but spins it hard, gets big downer shape at times and more sweeping shape at others. Didn't throw a change up. Right handed hitter, has a short inside swing from a spread stance, good shift into contact, front side gets early at times, similar hitting mechanics to his pitching mechanics, flashes strength at contact and has raw power. 6.95 runner in the sixty. Very good student, verbal commitment to Kennesaw State.
