Emory Stephens is a 2022 2B/OF with a 5-10 153 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Medium and athletic frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.72 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, worked out in the infield with agility moving well to the baseball, quick footwork and smoothness to his hands, has a quick transfer, has feel for the position working around the baseball with good direction to first base, developing arm strength up to 73 mph across. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with an open and upright stance, simple swing with a downhill path to contact, leg lift triggers at times with a bat wrap at load, middle of the field approach, will start to get the bat head out more often as he adds strength.
