Seth Hernandez is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Chino, CA who attends Corona High School. Extra-large athletic frame with square shoulders and a high waist, long limbs with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.07 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, big rock step with deliberate tempo into a leg lift up to belt; long and quick arm action through the backside, lands closed with strike foot, developed timing for release over two frames. Big arm speed and arm strength, maintained 92-94 mph on fastball throughout and bumped 95, easy velocity and takes off through the zone with life and angle. Attacked with heater but showed comfort to mix secondaries and sequence; changeup is a plus offering already up to 82 mph with late diving life to the arm side. Curveball has 12-6 shape with sharp, late biting life up to 79 mph. Big arm strength across the diamond with obvious carry, athleticism plays in actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, upper body dominant swing with strength and quickness to hands. Generates carry off of the barrel, worked to the gaps and went out to the pull side late in round. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
