Cooper Strawn is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Farmersville, TX who attends Farmersville. Big and strong well proportioned athletic build. Works very quickly and a better pace might positively impact his ability to repeat, very compact arm action that hides the ball well, medium effort release. Fastball worked in the upper 80's and touched 91 mph early, can work on improving his fastball consistency and command. Change up was his best pitch this outing, has nice late life and good arm speed. Got in a good groove with an upper 70's slider with big sweeping shape. Three pitch starter type with improved fastball command. Right handed hitter who shows power when he's on time and squared up. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
