Stephen Moraski is a 2021 RHP/SS, OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Oak Mountain. Large and projectable frame with long limbs and room to fill. Ran a 6.99 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works quickly with good tempo to his delivery, lands on a soft front leg down the mound, takes his arm back to a loose arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fluid delivery using his lower half to drive down the mound. Fastball topped out at 87 mph with armside run to the pitch, mixes in a curveball that he tunnels well, pitch has late and tight spin, late-breaking slider as well, lives down in the zone with all three pitches. Secondary shortstop, worked out in the infield moving well to the baseball especially with his first step, smooth glove and looks the part. Also worked out in the outfield with athleticism, keeps the ball on a line with good arm strength, topped out at 85 mph from the outfield and infield. Right-handed hitter, long swing plane with whip to the barrel, loud contact when squared, shows a feel for the barrel especially to the opposite gap. Outstanding student.
