Beau Peterson is a 2026 3B/RHP, C with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Shawnee, KS who attends Mill Valley. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves well in the dirt with light footwork, some bend at the waist, big arm strength across the diamond, shows comfort changing slots accurately across the diamond, ball jumps out of hand; similar big arm strength from the outfield, fields the ball out to side, repeats actions and shows lots of carry on throws to intended base. Also pitched, side step into a belt high leg lift, compact delivery with a full arm swing through the backside working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball sat in the upper-80s and topped out at 90 mph, occasional cut action to it and worked around the zone. Excellent slider with late and hard horizontal life up to 82 mph and flashed a hard diving changeup also up to 82 mph. Nice two way potential. Left-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; lots of looseness to swing and strength in hands. Creates impact to the pull side, does a nice job of getting the barrel through the zone and ball jumps off of the barrel with ease. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Nebraska.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
