Michael Kass is a 2021 MIF/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends Lanier. Flashed a medium frame with a slender, young build showing plenty of room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 6.89 second sixty yard dash. Primary Middle Infielder working well into and around the baseball. Slows momentum down after gather. Raw skills that will be cleaned up mechanically giving him a big jump down the road. Secondaery Righthanded pitcher starting with an over the belt high leg lift and stride. Clean take back with a medium arm circle showing a three-quarters arm slot. Utilizing the lower half to create velocity. Misses barrels while his fastball topped out at 85 mph. When elevated, he proved the heater to be a tough pitch to square up. Kept hitters off balance with a good slider and changeup as well. Great pitchability that projects well. Righthanded hitter starting from an open stance working into a toe tap and stride. Bat speed showing looking to get extended and pull the baseball. Generates some lift when on time. Fast hands throwing them at the baseball. Quick out of the box and down the line.
