Jalen Jones is a 2021 SS/RHP, IF, OF, UT with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Mesquite, TX who attends Horn HS. Recorded a 7.04 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with broad shoulders and projection with room to fill. Primary shortstop with some range to both sides. Athletic actions while he's light on his feet with a clean release. Loose arm with good carry on throws recorded up to 76 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a long arm circle and drives down the mound well. Clean mechanics with an easy release and a high three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in a softer breaking ball. Righthanded hitter with a balanced stance and high leg lift. Loose hands and work well in the swing. Drives off his back hip nicely and creates some torque and leverage at contact. Flat barrel path with some loft in the swing. Good barrel skills and works to the middle of the field well with some power projection too.
