Jack Snook is a 2019 RHP/ with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Pleasanton, CA who attends Amador Valley. Large frame with a longer limbs and a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth paced, rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Creates slightly coil over back leg and stay flexed on back side at gather. Works to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed some running action to arm side with occasional sink in the mid 70's, topped at 80 miles per hour. Maintains arm speed with a slider offering that flashed varying shape and tilt in the upper 60's. Duplicated arm slot as well with off speed proving to be very difficult for hitters to identify. Consistently changed speeds while challenging the strike zone, induced weak contact through each inning of work. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly crouched stance. Stays on back side throughout with rotational lower half actions. Creates some top half coil at load and works to contact on a loose, inside path. Barrel came through the zone on a level, line drive plane and primarily worked the baseball the other way in batting practice. Good student as well.
