Xavier Casserilla is a 2021 3B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 6-0 207 lb. frame from Haslet, TX who attends VR Eaton. Large frame with a physically mature build. Broad shoulders with a sturdy lower half proving to be projectable. Ran a 7.52 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman, showing a great first step as he reads it off the bat well. Clean gather out front as he funnels the baseball in a low stance. Stays in his legs well as he shows a quick transfer to compliment a strong arm. Threw it 86 MPH across the diamond with accuracy showing. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working from a narrow stance into a toe tap and lift to a belt high leg lift. Balanced at all times during motion. Clean arm action fluid mechanics. Fastball was up to 91 MPH with heaviness as he pounded the corners with it. Also flashed a curveball with 11-to-5 looks that he landed for strikes. Went right after hitters and competed. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball as he does a good job of staying behind the baseball. Funnels off to the side and then works into clean exchanges. Keeps the baseball down with some carry to it as he threw it 86 MPH during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, showing a relaxed, even stance before working into a leg lift and stride. Hands are quiet at all times before he flashed plus bat speed. Simple cuts as he found the barrel consistently. Drives with the hips as he generated big time pop. Proved he could go gap to gap with ease. Outstanding Student. Named to National Underclass East Top Prospect List.
