Landon Frost is a 2024 3B/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Gilbertville, IA who attends Don Bosco. A bigger frame with some strength present in a physical build. Rn a 7.55 60-yard dash. A primary third baseman who worked out as a shortstop with some strength behind the throws. He was accurate to first base with throws across at 82 mph. Showed off the corner infield skills with good lateral range, moving well from side to side. He was accurate with his glovework and funneled well into the throws. Adjusted slots well as needed with a shorter arm action across the diamond. A right-handed hitter with a wider base and physical look in the batter's box. He has high-set hands and a higher back elbow. Uses a leg lift trigger to get on time with aggressive turns. He loads over the backside with good whip to the hands, creating some strength off the barrel. It was a quick path to the ball with good strength. Left the yard for a home run during BP, showing off the ability to life pull-side. Projects for more power with added strength. Produced an 84 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Named to 2023 Midwest Prospect TP List. Verbal commitment to Kirkwood CC.
