Austin Lewandowski is a 2019 RHP/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Creighton Preparatory. Medium frame with a long and athletic build and room to add strength. Ran a 7.45 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a short side step delivery into high leg lift and slight hip coil at gather. Lands slightly closed when coming to the plate and creates slight crossfire actions. Repeats well with a consistent and easy delivery. Sinking action with occasional arm side run on the fastball topping out at 83 miles per hour. Mixes in an 11-to-5 sweeping curveball with downward action at times. Flashes a solid changeup with deception while maintaining arm speed well. Has swing and miss potential and some projectability on the mound. Also worked out as a secondary infielder. Moves well around the ball while getting in line with the bag. Carry across the field at 82 miles per hour.
