Caden Greanead is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Denton, TX who attends Denton. Medium to large build with present length and plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, glove works well out in front as well as to both sides, showcases fluidity while on the move. Good softness to his hands, ability to make accurate throws from multiple slots. On the mound, has a short arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Good downward angle on his fastball up to 86 mph. Quick separation, easy velocity to the plate. Goes right after guys with his arsenal. Mixes in a 12-to-6 curveball with flashes of strong late break to the plate. Also throws a 10-to-4 shaped slider that sits around 75 mph and shows great effectiveness down and away from right-handed bats. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a large leg kick trigger. Flat barrel plane through the zone, looks to use the middle of the field. Good leverage created in his swing, power tool will continue to improve alongside his build.
