Mike Koszewski is a 2020 OF/LHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Oak Brook, IL who attends Montini Catholic. Medium frame with lean, athletic build. Hits from even, narrow-based stance, hands work well through swing with looseness and quickness, leg kick trigger, gets barrel moving on plane early, does a good job of covering the plate, developing power. Worked out in the outfield, fields off front foot and maintains momentum through the ball, arm works well, clocked up to 78 mph with accuracy. Also pitched, creates compact angles to the plate, fastball worked 76-79 mph with lots of deception due to angles and crossfire. Showed slurvy breaking ball with depth, also showed solid changeup with fading life. Excellent student.
