Brady Waugh is a 2023 3B/RHP/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Briarwood Christian. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with good lower body action into his swing, stays balanced well, short and accurate swing, swung the bat very well in games with consistent hard contact to all fields, projects well as a hitter. 7.27 runner in the sixty, has good fundamental actions in the infield on defense, works behind the ball well and stays balanced, good hand actions with a quick release on his throws, second base tools and profile. Also pitched, works from a full wind up, lands closed with his lead leg out front and throws across his body. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, worked down in the zone well with his fastball. Showed good consistency and feel for a sweeping curveball with some depth. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
