Juan Carlos Menendez is a 2023 C/1B, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Westminster Christian School. Recorded a 7.76 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with some present physicality and room for more. Primary catcher with full extension mechanics and a low transfer. Good footwork and replaces lower half well. Flexibility evident with a high release and a best recorded pop time of 2.03 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a balanced and slightly open stance, hanging leg lift, and lags the barrel nicely. Turns the barrel nicely to the pull side and ball carries when leveraged. Power upside to pull upon physical maturity. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
