Primary right-handed pitcher with a big frame and athletic build. Simple mechanics with an open feet set working out of the stretch starting point. High-waist lift with direct line to the plate from the first base side of the rubber. Full arm swing to a high-slot release getting down the slope. High front side using his tall frame and high release to create down angle on the fastball up to 80 mph (1489 RPM). Curveball in the high-60s(1516 RPM) with depth and down action as a secondary. Present upside in frame with more in the tank moving forward. Secondary third baseman with solid footwork for the corner and arm strength on throws across the diamond at 82 mph. Some lateral quickness and reactions for his size with soft hands out front. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and high back elbow start with high hands. Toe-tap trigger with hands dropping into slot and strength through the zone. Long swing with barrel wrap and loft to the path with power through the middle of the field. Projects for more power moving forward with intent at contact. Named to the 2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
