Hunter Kenji Fujimoto is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from San Jose, CA. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build. Ran a 7.13 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, showing feel for proper footwork as he worked into the baseball smoothly. Gathered out front with confidence and then worked quickly into transfers. Arm strength starting to show as he threw it 77 mph with accuracy to the bag during drills. Fundamentally sound and projects in the outfield. Secondary Left-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively out of the stretch as he lifts above the belt before driving down the mound while staying direct to target. Released from a higher three-quarter slot with a fluid arm action. Filled up the zone with a solid three pitch mix. Fastball up to 73 mph with arm side run that he proved he could spot up. Mixed in a really good changeup that fell off the table late. Rounded off the three pitch mix with a sharp breaking ball with 1-to-7 movements. Upside showing on the mound going forward. Left-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and upright with quiet hands. Hover lift before striding out and landing in a balanced position. Slight bat wrap before unwinding and throws hands at the baseball. Does a good job staying compact and linear through the zone as he drove it back up the middle with ease. Will make big strides with a strength gain. Great Student.
