Nicky Rodriguez is a 2025 RHP/UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from West Sacramento, CA who attends River City. Recorded a 7.62 sixty yard dash at the event. Medium build with some strength in the frame. Primary right-handed pitcher. High leg kick to chest while mixing timing well on the mound to mess with hitters and baserunners. Throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Locates the fastball in and around the zone well. Spun a curveball that showed some depth and feel. Strike thrower. Secondary outfielder. Efficient footwork with average arm strength and carry. Waits back on the ball fielding it off to the side. Also worked out on the infield. Shows off okay range to each side while stabbing at the backhand. Developing feel on the infield with arm strength to play at second base for now. Right-handed hitter. Squatted stance with average balance at the plate. Hands have some movement through the loading process. Overall, quicker compact stroke that produced a soldi round. Smoked a double into the pull-side gap during game action. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
