Richie Cimpric is a 2020 1B/RHP with a 6-6 230 lb. frame from Bayport, NY who attends Bayport-Blue Point. Extra large frame with some strength present. Ran a 5.94 second 40 yard dash. Primary first baseman, deliberate actions, long arm stroke into throws, clean turns into throws to second base, accurate arm with average arm strength, topped out at 77 mph from first base. Secondary righthanded pitcher, deceptive delivery with multiple moving parts, takes a long arm action at take back up to a 3/4 arm slot, filled up the strike zone with a three pitch mix, fastball topped out at 78 mph. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base and a high hand set, takes a small stride forward into contact, low effort swing with a level swing plane, some strength present in his swing, turns the barrel over well on the inner half of the plate. Good student.
