Michael Villani is a 2023 2B/RHP/SS with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Old Bridge, NJ who attends Old Bridge. Long and lean high waisted build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low hand start, quiet weight shift into contact, has a short and compact swing with good barrel control and a line drive swing plane, works the middle of the field, swing is simple and repeatable and promises a high average result as he fills in and gets stronger. 7.31 runner in the sixty. Has some athleticism in the middle infielder, glider to the ball with a clean funnel out front, has some arm strength and carry on his throws. Good overall player who will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Very good student.
