Blaine Rowland is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Plant City, FL who attends Durant. Strong and athletic build. Has a compact arm action from a tight 3/4's arm slot, sound delivery that he repeats well. Featured both a 2-seam and 4-seam fastball, gets nice running life on the 2-seamer and some ride on the 4-seamer. Has some feel for shaping his slider, can make it tight and short or put more sweep to the pitch. Firm change up that kills spin well and has some deception. No single plus pitch but has lots of options and has some feel for them and a mature approach, history as a strike thrower. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida.
