Michael "Hunter" Stonecipher is a 2025 C/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Bogart, GA who attends Clarke Central. Medium, square shoulder frame with well proportioned strength throughout. 7.44 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, starts in a narrow stance with a low back elbow, sinks into his legs in the load, fires the hips and creates tons of torque through the zone. Has fast hands and swings with intent, showed the ability to get the barrel extended and hit the ball with authority to the pull-side. Hit multiple home runs in the round. Primary catcher, high side-saddled setup, natural receiver, athletic out of the crouch. Quick transfer, compact arm action to a high three-quarter release point. Natural mover with good arm strength behind the plate, throws up to 79 mph and a pop-time of 1.88. Secondary right-handed pitcher, small side step into a short leg lift, arm action is clean and fluid to a higher release. Hides the ball well, allowing it to play up, had advanced control of the two pitch mix. Fastball was up to 81 mph (1856 RPM) and a curveball was up to 69 mph (1900 RPM) with depth. Excellent student.
